Excl: The driver of the train who made the emergency stop in Huntingdon, Andrew Johnson, told ITV News tonight that he was “just doing my job”.

But he surely saved lives.

He says the member of LNER staff still in hospital with life-threatening injuries “was the brave one”.

I agree, how the right have used the story without knowing him at all is a good example.

Eating disorder cases are skyrocketing.

Despite being among the most serious and life-threatening mental illnesses - treatment for eating disorders remains underfunded, misunderstood, and neglected.

Today, I'm leading a debate in Parliament to highlight the scale of this devastating crisis 👇

Yesterday, I visited Appeer in #Woking, who support autistic girls and young women and their parents. I helped them get funding from Surrey County Council to start-up 5 years ago, and delighted they have recently secured funding from the National Lottery.

I came down to West Hill in Epsom where Thames Water engineers continue to tackle the burst mains water pipe.

A number of houses have been affected, with St Joseph's having to close.

If you live in the KT18 & KT19 area, please follow Thames Water's red incident banner for updates: buff.ly/tcwjQhC

My team will put out the video of my PMQs soon - but I am extremely alarmed the PM dodged my question about cutting disabled people’s benefits. Very worrying.

I was in #Ukraine as part of a parliamentary delegation with U.K. Friends of Ukraine recently. Honoured to take part in a ceremony in Freedom Square to mark the third anniversary of the invasion, meet soldiers, unload aid from the UK and visit Parliament.

This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell.

This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.

I used to think no people on this planet had committed a greater act of self-harm in recent history than the ones who voted for Brexit. Then the Americans had to outdo us and voted (a second time) for Trump.

The cover of How They Broke Britain.

The cover of How They Broke Britain.

Anyway, all the commentators, presenters, hacks & politicians who bigged up austerity, Brexit, Boris Johnson, Liz Truss, Donald Trump etc will be back at work tomorrow, making massive new mistakes without a thought for the damage they do or the misery they facilitate.

Someone should write a book…

It is moments like this that really bring home how unutterably awful it was to allow events* to create a national mood in which Boris Johnson & Liz Truss could become Prime Minister. Imagine they were in the post right now…

The Conservatives are infighting again - this time over whether to cancel elections. Tories running #Surrey County Council recently succeeded in getting the Government to stop May’s elections, but now the party nationally want the elections to go ahead!

A great day out at Paignton Pier: arcades, crazy golf and even won a few prizes (team effort with Steve Darling and Jennie).

Local businesses like these are the beating heart of our communities. The Liberal Democrats will always be their champions.

”Ruthless pragmatism" - really? Then act in the national interest: do what it takes to protect British business and jobs.

That means a new UK-EU customs union to cut costs for importers and exporters.

Fewer barriers, more growth.

I don’t buy the idea that the Gaza comments are designed to distract us from the coup. Because not long ago the same people said that the coup comments were designed to distract us from something else. He is chaotic *and* corrupt. There is no pattern or plan. Nothing is impossible.

Illegal meat on most UK High Streets, official says Post-Brexit checks are undermining efforts to keep out potentially disease-ridden meat, official says.

Lucy Manzano, head of the Dover Port Health Authority: "Defra have continually stated that there are robust controls in place. There are not. They don't exist."

The previous Tory government had 4 years to sort this out. The system they set up is shoddy at best. #Brexit

Donald Trump’s attempts to bully Denmark over Greenland, threatening a NATO ally with military force, are unacceptable and wrong.

Keir Starmer should make clear our total solidarity when he meets with his Danish counterpart today.

We have to be bigger - and a lot smarter - than this. Long after Trump is dead and buried, we will be remembered by a lot of our traditional allies as the nation that grovelled before tyranny.
