We haven't really, but I'm glad to have a little bit of a nudge in that direction! The big hangup is not having all our historical scouting info in the same place/format.

We already have our Stat of the Week for this week.
Thanks Jo Adell!
Who's the only other player to have 3 HR robberies ... in a week?
Who has the most since we've been tracking them?

As much as I am a stats guy and built much of the backbone of the analytics on this site, this is definitely my favorite part of our draft site.
It gives you a texture for the player pool at a glance and gets us thinking more in terms of tiers than ranks.

Overall blocking value ranks according to the SIS player value metric, Total Points:

Don’t tempt me with a good time!
From an SIS (Total Points) perspective he benefits from three things:
1) Volume
2) Strong blown block rate in the pass game
3) A lot of successful cutback runs went to his gap
Good question.
Their value is updated based on whatever they've done so far (if anything) and is then regressed toward replacement level.
One of my hopes for the offseason is that we'll build a more robust player projection/value system that would include a better method for this, though!
We continue to revel in @vigmanoncampus.bsky.social nailing his Chiefs preseason assessment, much to the chagrin of our CEO (sorry @mattmano.bsky.social!)

Correct! (Hi Scott!)
Murray's On-Target% ranks among those with meaningful playing time:
Under 10 yards: 4th
10-19 yards: 1st
20+ yards: 29th

This is what you get for expressing certainty, Liam! People poke holes!
This was a pretty clear fourth down “go” situation, but I went into how or why you might disagree.
Every year our Total Points player value system seems to decide on its "guy" that is rated surprisingly well.
Bo Nix was its guy in 2024, ranking 6th in passing.
Through W9, he was 31st in EPA and 3rd in Total Points.
After W9, he was 2nd in EPA and 15th in Total Points.
Weird year.

Fun news from our football group!
We already had an Expected Points model, but it wasn't great at handling late-half (and especially late-game) situations.
So we built a new one, which does a LOT better in those spots.

Come for the lack of schedule takesmanship, stay for my impressive performance in the game we played through the episode.
In recent drafts we don’t trade future first round picks even once.
Why on this night did we trade twice?
(Was that not the type of question we were talking about?)
