At this point in the season, if I were a betting man, I’d be more inclined to bet that City win the Premier League, not Arsenal. They have a game in hand, the two teams are still to meet, and City are the in-form team.

Agreed. I also don’t trust Arne’s fitness regime. I don’t recall such an injury-plagued season in a long while, and the inconsistency and just straight up lethargy displayed across the whole team at points this season point to a fitness regime that’s lacking.

It’s rare for me to want to see players of Mo’s caliber come to MLS, but my god would it completely change the league. Even more so than Messi. A Liverpool supporter who’s also a Galaxy supporter can hope… 😅😅😅

This is so damn cool and inspirational and I can’t even imagine what those four incredible humans are feeling right now. What a thing for us to witness!

I really dislike that I’m kinda hoping that PSG absolutely roll Liverpool, just so that there is no longer a single reason to keep Arne around.

#MovieMonday Project: Hail Mary

If you loved The Martian, you’ll love this. Gosling puts in an admirable performance as Grace. There’s a few predictable moments and a couple of unpredictable ones. Overall, very entertaining. 4/5.

Agreed. Red Bull have their work cut out for them, but now they’ve got some badly needed time. It’ll be interesting to see how competitive they can be.

Hot prediction time:

With Bahrain and Saudi #F1 races cancelled, Ferrari are gonna ship a bunch of improvements between Suzuka and Miami, and we’ll see them keeping much closer pace with the Mercs. Hamilton will get a P1 at some point this season.

If you ever want to test your own personal patience and figure out how close to crashing out you can get without actually crashing out, try to fly out of #SEATAC during a snow storm.

My patience doth wither, and “hopefully you’ll be out of here at 10pm” doth butter no parsnips.

Admittedly, I consider my own predictions here to be poor takes 😅

It’s probably going to be way more chaotic than I can imagine after one race and one sprint quali.

PREDICTIONS:

George Russell will be the 2026 #F1 Driver’s world champion. One of the Ferrari driver’s will be second.

Mercedes will be the 2026 Constructor’s world champion. Ferrari second.

McLaren will do a lot of moaning.

Williams will put a rabbit out of the hat and finish fourth.

I’m just going to chalk this one up to an early season team not being able to breath at a mile high and gassing it early.

This is a fascinating stat as we head into the #WorldCup this summer. Brentford dropping out of the FA Cup today to a fluffed Panenka doesn’t skew the stats - going right down the middle is statistically still the most effective way of scoring from a penalty. I wonder if we’ll see many this summer.

Take aways from the Australian #F1 Grand Prix:

- Mercedes are the team to beat
- Ferrari are looking pretty damn good too
- Arvid Lindblad is gonna have a fantastic year
- Williams need to put in a lot of work
- The Audi livery is the nicest on the grid

This is ridiculous. Vowles has materially moved the Williams org forward. We haven’t even had a single race this year yet (for a few more hours at least).

Apple TV+ has never broadcast F1 before until this year (in the US at least).

So far, I’m thoroughly impressed with the #F1 coverage on Apple TV+. Multiview is awesome, the presenters are decent, and the bonus content is good. Solid start to the season’s coverage!

As an Arcane Mage, I’m deep on the purple theme. If it’s purple, I want it in my house. If ot floats, I want it in my house. If it even suggests something slightly magical, I want it in my house.

And as much as I kinda despise Spurs, they are a top flight institution. Spurs fans deserve way better. Spurs players deserve way better. Talk about torpedoing your own ship. It’s such a shame; they used to be such an entertaining team to watch.

When Spurs finished 2nd in the PL in 16/17, I said to my Spurs-supporting friend that that’s the closest they will be to a title for the next 25 years and it’s all a decline leading to relegation after bottling it like that.

It looks a lot like I’m about to be proven correct.
