The concern is anaerobic bacteria. I had one jar go ammonia smelling this year from thick green buds that just would not dry. Safe for edibles but not smoke. I rigged a drying space in a water heater closet that will work better for stubborn dense auto buds. I have a circulating fan.

Electric Citrus is not easy to dry. Grown 2 before and the buds trap moisture in the center when drying. Harvested 75 days was too little and at 95 days the amber flattened the buzz. Somewhere in the 80 day range should be good for chopping this one. Mephisto provided no info as usual.
