In short, it helps to have collaborators that bring out the best in you...and recite quotes from 'Got 2B Real' with you too (IYKYK π)

Our songwriting sessions together have been full of laughs, dope melodies, lots of lyric ideas, & moments that pushed me out of my comfort zone while reminding me to trust both the process and my fellow creatives in the room.
It's been a rewarding experience working with my guys Kori & Jon (aka JOKO) these last few months. Having written the majority of my previous songs solo, I can attest to the difference working with co-writers can make.
I don't know who this message is for, but get you a therapist & lock the fuck in twin.
Thank God for my therapist. We weren't scheduled to have a session the other day but he made himself available for a quick call which kept me from jumping over the ledge (mentally).
I'm amped for whats to come and I'm looking forward to giving y'all these new songs soon!
Being an artist in todays day and age is some scary shit, but I still find a reason to keep going anyway. π
It almost feels as if I'm hitting the reset button. I'm nervous, anxious, & at times even a little restless, but most of all, I'm focused on getting this music right.
This next chapter is about tapping into new, fresh energy - from working w/ new collaborators, and exploring other parts of my voice, to taking chances with what I wanna say and how I say it.
I've been quietly at work on new songs for the last 6 months, and while I don't have a title/rollout plan locked in yet, I'm hype for what's coming.
We dropped JADED LOVER on April 2nd of last year and its gone on to become my highest streaming project to date.
Thank y'all for listening and adding it to your rotations, playlists, etc. π«ΆπΎ
Been so busy working on new music that I forgot to acknowledge the one year mark of my 5th EP 'JADED LOVER'
Excited to spend all of April focused on finishing some new songs. πΏ
Thank you LA for being a great crowd π
...'Til next time!
Also finally got the chance to perform "Right One, Wrong Time" with my bro Dende
Had the pleasure of supporting Sophia Galate on the last night of her first tour.
S/O to the homies who pulled up in support!
Popped out and pulled up to the Pass The Torch Awards this past week.
Congratulations to all the honorees and everybody at Better Brothers LA on a successful awards weekend!
Going forward, I don't want people to just get caught up on how well I sing.
Do I make you feel something?
Do I set a mood or paint a picture?
Does my music take you somewhere in your mind?
If all you get from me is just tone, runs, & a good belt, then there's a problem.
I'm MORE than just a great singer. I'm an artist with music thats worth supporting & adding to the rotation. I'm ready to shift the narrative.
STUDIO DAY ONE.
S/O to the all the artists who performed and thanks to the teams both at RCE & @sxsw.com - and of course the city of Austin, TX for a great weekend π€πΎ
My first time live at SXSW is officially in the books...
Reporting live from Austin, TX π
S/O to whoever the guy was in the front of the audience last night who knew all of the words and sang along when I performed "Right One, Wrong Time".
That single-handedly made my night and confirmed that I'm doing something right.
Me & Dende got in our bag and made a hit!
My 1st SXSW weekend! I'm excited to be performing at the R&B Forever showcase tomorrow night. It's some dope artists on this lineup too.
(Kinda random, kinda not) but let me say I appreciate all the love I've been getting for this bald/low haircut I'm rocking now.
What started as just a move to help shift my energy after a hellacious 2025 has turned into something really beautiful.
I'm a lover, not a fighter ππΎπ
