I have a damn Pavlovian DoorDash dog. Every time I get out of my chair he thinks there’s food at the front door.

Beneath a pink cliff with water stripes are the ruins. Two 3-story towers flank a 4-story tower, each with windows of varied sizes. In front of each tower are kivas recessed into the patios. All structures are build "bricks" cut from the rock in the area.

November is National Native American Heritage Month. Mesa Verde is one national park where you can connect respectfully with the sacred spaces of Ancestral Puebloans through their cliff dwellings.
