I completed an assignment for class where I was tasked with creating a graphic novel/comic cover. As a result, I ended up drawing Shadow the Hedgehog in the Sonic IDW comics cover layout!
This was heavily inspired by Ep. 1 of the Dark Beginnings animation for Sonic X Shadow Generations :] Enjoy!

Despite being into Sonic my whole life I never really drew the characters besides two or three time. I’m so happy to have the opportunity to celebrate the release of Sonic x Shadow generations as an assignment!

I now have the flex to say “I get to draw Shadow The Hedgehog for a grade”.
