Yeah its the original to the power of two at least. You can set loops and regions for each playhead, the curve timings are really promising, lots more... it brings together many things you could only do by chaining plugins, in such a manner that I feel like I'm gonna bw doing new things.

Fugue Machine Rubato is the best damn sequencer of all time. 60€ on the app store, mac/ios/ipad.
You been told.
What’s the scammiest genre of audio plugin?
Same way as any other tool.
The basic outputs of tools are crap. You still need the sme talents on the new tools.
The Mac Mini m4 has gotten a new affordable internal ssd upgrade that is not terribly difficult to install:
Is this a remix of the classic banger “yeah well that’s, like, just your opinion, man”?
Lots of interesting, original stuff for Max For Live users
Everyone is bombarded with Black Friday, so as usual, I've tried to hand-pick the stuff I think is worthy of your attention.
It's always a little scary as typically that means I then get 100 more suggestions right after doing this, but here you go...
Wavesfactory’s Trackspacer is a phase every young producer should go through. Its on sale for 29$ right now.
This is instantly a Favorite Thing. Total destruction from @newfangledaudio.bsky.social - cdm.link/free-obliter... - and it's free.
Apart from desktop audio plugins, the Synth Anatomy article also covers ios plugins, and its a great list to start from, all the manufacturers are there.
Its rare to see a plugin keep rising in price year on year but Devious Machines’ Texture is now 75 bucks after discount, so it must be proving very valuable. For me it can transform rhythm, and so really breath life into dance music.
DiscoDSP’s OPL is another simplistic basic sounding emulation of a computer synth chip that often takes me places when I combine it with vibey effects.
Only 29$ at the moment, strong discounts off their popular obx and nord synth emulators as well.
Anemond’s factor synth mashes samples together to create new rhythms and sound. Great source of strangeness.
Their other two plugs are equally worth a try.
I’m still figuring out Moog Mariana, but for 39$ it’s worth the yolo. Very heavy basses.
I just got one of the moogerfoogers on the ipad but I haven’t tried it.
But the moog plugins tend to sound as good as their hardware counterparts.
Sugar Bytes’ DrumComputer is amazing on the ipad, it really takes me places in rhythm, very strange at times. (Don’t expect the expected, is all)
The desktop version is 50% off:
I only have the 505 String Synth out of the XilS lineup, but it sounds lovely, I do want all of them. Retro goodness.
(The affiliate links go to synthtopia, I am picking these from their huge list)
Klevgrand have a huge sale at Plugin boutique.
I love Korvpressor, my go-to comp on the iPad and probably the best compressor UI in history. Not for the faint of heart, but a steal at 25 spacebucks. I have a few others and they’re all stuff you’d use.
3: AudioThing offer deep discounts on their plugins, including the often brilliant Hainbach collabs. They hover around 35€ after discount.
And Valves, the gnarliest channel strip for that 80 year old recording vibe is at 9€, same as the simple Things plugs. Some great freebies too.
2: U-he boast the lowest discount in town, 15% (or less) but satin is my favorite tape plugin and all the synths sound amazing. But I’ve seen them discount up to 30%, so if you can wait, thats an option too.
There are three freebies up on cdm.link, including a rather nifty new acid synth from imaginando that’ll only be free until Monday.
I love every plugin I’ve bought from them.
Everything I mention in this thread is something I have used.
Worth a look on Black Friday:
1.
Plogue keeps puttung out affordable, great sounding synths and effects for eccentrics, with a special eye on 80s and 90s sounds.
