It’s cuz I LIKE IT hahaha. It’s a fun puzzle and I def over complicate it compared to the average player hahaha

But I like the challenge of the complexity which I’ll def make mistakes on here and there. I do dance with drawing/stowing as object interactions, but drawing as part of attack doesn’t allow for Booming Blade (cuz it’s Magic Action). Bonus reminder: drawing shield is full action!

Further reading for those interested! I’m running Paladin spells and Sorc spells according to their individual class rules. Holy symbol covers pally but gotta have a free hand for the somatic sorc spell or utilize subtle spell. Doesn’t HAVE to run this way 4 every group (more)

Real short answer: subtle spell (converting spell slot). I thought it out in game, but forgot to declare it in the moment, then didn’t want to ruin the momentum when I noticed because we moved on. But I marked it on my sheet and I actually quickly mention it next ep. (more)
