Today I turn 89. I’ve seen this country at its best and its worst, and I know how much community matters. For my birthday, I’m asking you to stand with PFLAG and support the work that’s helped so many in the LGBTQ+ community, including me. give.pflag.org/page/95493/d...

Just sobbed hardest I have since my mom died in 2020.

She missed these trials by a few months.

One of most ruthless cancers. Hard to fathom that maybe she'd still be here.

I feel such a hole inside.

In case you're wondering if we should fund mRNA research instead of another stupid war ... yes.

My theory on Starbucks: it caters primarily for that not insignificant sector of the market that likes the idea of coffee, but doesn’t actually like coffee.

When Lennon quipped that the Beatles were "more popular than Jesus" in an interview in 1966 it nearly derailed them in America.

The KKK burned their records & merch on pyres, there were repeated death threats and it was one of the factors that led them to stop touring

Trump’s done far worse today

David Duchovny played a transgender woman, Denise, on Twin Peaks in 1990 and when greeting Cooper, the show's protagonist, she says, "I prefer Denise, if you don't mind" and Cooper responds with "OK" and her identity is settled within a couple seconds and was a non-issue, 36 years ago.

Maybe impeachment is what the orange fool is aiming for? It would at least get him out of this mess? For a time.

Earth and Moon from DSCOVR NASA's Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) aboard the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) satellite captured this unique view of the Moon as it moved in front of the sunlit side of Earth last month. This view shows the fully illuminated “dark side” of the moon that is never visible from Earth. Ian Regan processed this version of the image to account for the Moon's motion. I'm not sure about you, but I think the collapse of US hegemony, a global price spike and recession, and a new ground war in the Middle East are far worse than drag queens reading books at the library.

No, fuck you. You don’t get to suddenly decide that copyright matters when folks suddenly have access to the source code of your spicy autocomplete due to your own incompetence.
