Lots of great card games up for order in the past week+. Just look at the Magenta line from @cmyk.games and @dnlnwmn.bsky.social over at New Mill. Truly some amazing localizations and new games.

Someone got their math wrong in their Euro game about calorie counting. It takes place in the 80's and also features Jazzercize, angel/devil food, and big shoulder pads.

I would, especially the short game. I personally would prefer other ones but this one has been used a ton already as a first one and succeeded. It incorporates a few Euro-esque elements for people coming from that direction.

Let me know if you have questions about the graphic design or anything else. I know the graphic designers and made some minor suggestions but also taught them 18xx with the prototype, which proved to be very insightful for them

I think there's absolutely room for both in my collection. Yes the core is similar but I love the way Tall Tales looks and the feeling while playing. I asked Friedemann if he had played Tall Tales when I played Fishing for the first time. He said no, so I told him to check it out.
