I think we need to celebrate the death of Sora a bit more. This is a technology that, just MONTHS AGO, we were being told was going to literally destroy Hollywood and Disney was going to give them a BILLION DOLLARS and NONE OF THAT EVEN REMOTELY HAPPENED

Thank you for looking into this. This has been happening with Dem candidates for years. It really erodes my trust in the whole party. I get texts and emails for candidates in states and cities I’ve never even lived in, let alone signed up for updates about. It’s just dishonest.
Please share if you can!
I feel like you’re reacting to someone else’s position but replying to my post. I never singled out young men. Housing costs negatively affect everyone of all genders and ages. I’m not sure what you’re trying to convince me of. It sounds like we largely agree.
Yeah, if anything, I think young women are likely to be affected more than men by the high cost of housing for a variety of reasons, the manosphere being one of them.
I think this data refers to young people as a whole, not separated by gender. But I may have misunderstood. I agree it isn’t helpful to single out young men, and that wasn’t my intent.
I see a lot of folks blaming social media, and I’m no fan of social media, but it just might also have something to do with the inability of that cohort to afford housing or find jobs, or any of the other wild headwinds facing young people right now.
Day by day, it becomes clearer how self-absorbed and frankly stupid these rich idiots are, and I’m more and more surprised that anyone listens to them and takes them seriously.
In reality, there are many ways to analyze an issue. Hard science and statistics don’t do a good job of analyzing fuzzy human concepts like importance, meaning, connection, and emotion. Our current society values what can be quantified above all else.
It also attempts to create a power imbalance, positioning the AI supporter as scientifically aware and anyone arguing against it as unlearned and unsophisticated.
The assertion that humans are “biased” against AI is a neat way to dismiss arguments against AI by baselessly suggesting that opposition is unconscious and not deeply considered.
It’s so funny how sometimes old posts suddenly start making the rounds here again, like this one seems to be doing now.
One of the reasons I think AI “art” won’t catch on is how middle-of-the-road it is. And maybe the same-ness of a Spotify playlist is a good metaphor for it.
There are plenty of movies where people make a deal with the devil for fame and fortune. But who do I talk to if all I want is a spare bedroom and maybe a pantry?
A comic page of a medical resident examining, from top left to bottom right, a unicorn with a supposed peanut allergy, a Horned monster person with a possible hernia, two super heroes who got stuck together, a family whose little son is a werewolf, a grim reaper, and some gnomes with allergies.
The life of a medical resident in a fantasy city is especially hectic. But Ruth manages! Those gnomes are my favourite.

I just backed Passing in the Night: A Queer Romance Fantasy Graphic Novel by @meghankempgee.bsky.social and @lanedraws.bsky.social www.kickstarter.com/projects/shr...
I know there's a lot going on, but our queer romance about dragons, magic, and witches only has 9 days to get funded and we still really need the help to get to the finish line.
we should go back to the days where if they couldn’t reach you by phone at home, you were either out at the soda shop with your friends or you were dead
We're SO CLOSE! 75% of the way and just 9 days to go. You're going to love this book. Please spread the word and back if you can! kck.st/46ydhYF
Anyone who tells you that something they're doing is "inevitable" is trying to rob you of your right to help shape our society. They are also wrong.
A surprised-looking pirate with a beautiful moustache and a speech bubble that says "Hello there."
Hello there. I'd like to tell you about my favourite graphic novel I've read this year, Passing in the Night. There's a flying lizard in it, and also pirates, and it's a queer romantasy story.
We're 40% of the way toward our goal! Please back it! kck.st/46ydhYF
This sucks for this guy, but as rent and housing continue to be completely unaffordable, this will keep happening. People need to live somewhere. Housing isn’t a luxury. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
We’ve got less than 20 days to get our queer romance/fantasy book, PASSING IN THE NIGHT, funded. We need your help! Please share the link and back if you can!

Here’s a little taste of my art in the book!
Using the Tandem t:slim is like playing a video game that never lets you off the tutorial level. But the game is your entire life and it won’t stop telling you how to do things you’ve done every day for 25 years.
Wanting is having, and if you want this incredibly new queer fantasy romance comic, it's yours! The Kickstarter is launching later today. www.kickstarter.com/projects/shr...
I promise you: the US healthcare system, and privatized medicine as a whole, is horrible. If you’re well off, it sounds great (for you) until you lose your job, get an expensive medical condition, or need to find a doctor your insurance covers. This is bad.
Two stacks of beautiful comics.
I just picked up the exclusive comics for people who back our Kickstarter campaign next week, and they look SO GOOD! I can’t wait to hand these out at our launch event!
