Wow, a retired person spills beans on a YouTube show? That’s super credible.

Of course the Trump administration wants to hide its crimes.

Bringing in only half a billion? Not enough. They can afford much higher taxes.

Remarkable how far Trump’s gotten with his lies that the war is going well, it’s practically over already, the Iranians are giving in, a big deal is imminent, any economic damage will be easily weathered and over fast, just live in that fiction, feel relief and excitement.

So many want to believe.

The President of the United States started his Sunday by threatening the people of Iran with more war crimes.

Trump is deeply unwell and Congress must reassert its power to end the regime’s illegal war. Demand that your elected officials act with urgency: act.indivisible.org/sign/no-iran...

A tweet from Representative Thomas Massie that reads:

I just viewed 2 Top Secret FISA docs.
1) FISA Court opinion that raises serious concerns about FBI implementation of FISA 702.
2) letter by Senator Wyden describing a secret government interpretation of FISA law.
The Constitution requires I vote No on FISA 702 reauthorization.

I sent a classified letter to House and Senate colleagues about a secret interpretation of surveillance law that every American should be concerned about.

Representative Massie is right. The Constitution requires EVERY member to vote against a clean reauthorization.

It’s not lost on me that political leaders who frequently talk about religious matters are the same people telling the Pope to stay out of political matters.

I have always thought “ethics” classes were about how to avoid punishment. Morals by contrast are about what to do.

And crime-fraud exception may well apply to communications to/from Dershowitz.

We need to talk about Donald Trump’s mental health The increasingly incoherent and volatile president is much easier to understand if we come to terms with one thing

The most powerful man in the world doesn’t have the mental capacity to do the job. Or to put it another way, he’s nuts. It’s time we all recognised that app.prospectmagazine.co.uk/story/72990/...

Why hasn’t it sent a subpoena to Melania and Zampolli? Subpoenaing Dershowitz implicates attorney-client privilege and would be messier.

I said he must withdraw from the governors race. I’m not arguing that he should continue in government if the allegations are true. The question is holding the seat until Jan at the latest. I don’t know whether he can announce resignation and continue until a special election occurs before Nov.

First, I appreciate the civil discourse. Thank you. Second, like you I value integrity. My fear, however, is that we are bringing knives to a gunfight with the future of democracy (and with it the health and safety of all women) truly at risk. Asymmetry increases risk of terrible outcomes for all.

I don’t want any sexual abusers. We have one in the WH who is trying to perpetuate his, and one-party, rule. Should we hand it to them?

1 week ago 0 0 1 0

I agree and believe the President and his circle of rapists shouldn’t get exceptions. The hard question is what to do if the allegations are proved but exceptions are applied asymmetrically to favor the GOPs in Congress and WH to cement fascist rule.

You have deliberately and perversely distorted what I have written and loaded up on insults on a topic that is fair for debate. Way to mimic MAGA and to hand 2028 victory to the GOP.

Now you have made your fascist credentials clear.

Will your grandchildren like to know you paved the way to a fascist regime that took away the vote from women?

1 week ago 0 0 0 0

Nope. The allegations disqualify him from the race. If rape gets proved then resignation becomes an issue, and there is a reason to debate whether the standard for resignation should apply asymmetrically to ensure a fascist takeover by the GOP.

Good luck under the fascist regime.
