When I was canvassing for Zohran a woman walked right up to me and when I asked if she wanted go sign she said “I’m Jessica Ramos” and seemed SO pissed I didn’t recognize her and it’s like well whose fault is that?

I had to be the only lady who brought snacks to the 69 Love Songs show for some reason.

You are prohibited from bringing many things to a concert, but a sleeve of Oreos is not on that list.

No Other Land depicts the horrifying violence Palestinians in the West Bank endure under apartheid.

Yesterday, its co-director Hamdan Ballal was beaten in his home by settlers before being detained by Israeli forces.

People applauded Hamdan. Now they are silent. Free Hamdan.

Yeah what does being an historian have to do with schools?

NOW: Our first grassroots canvasses are underway at *eight different locations* across NYC. So grateful to everyone braving the cold to talk to our neighbors.

We’re going to knock one million doors by the June primary and win a city where working people can live with dignity. @socialists.nyc

Today is my birthday! Since 2020, I’ve celebrated by asking for poems or songs, a tradition that still brings me joy. I’d love to continue it this year if you feel inspired.

This year, I’m also asking for your support. In honor of my birthday, I invite you to donate $36 to the @abortionfunds (NNAF) or consider joining me a monthly donor to support reproductive justice.

Currently, 14 states have near-total abortion bans in place, with limited exceptions, and many others are imposing brutal restrictions. While directly funding abortion care won’t solve the systemic issue, it can make a life-changing difference for one individual.

Thank you for celebrating with me and for supporting this critical cause!

ICYMI - I joined a few hundred friends in the largest act of interfaith civil disobedience demanding a #CeasefireNOW since the crisis in Gaza just began. Multifaith, multiracial, multigenerational Philadelphians have gathered to say stop the genocide of Palestinians — Ceasefire now! #LetGazaLive

I learned so much at this panel - like Philly schools are combining classes and moving teachers in early (mid?) October.

And there are basically no school libraries.

Really confirming that when you think you know what’s going on, it’s probably worse.
