Someone help me understand how to remain hopeful after SCOTUS rulings today. I won't stop fighting for the constitution and rights, but it's a hard, bleak day.

I am a child of the 70s & am blue in a tiny corner of Big Red Montana.I see new Patriot newspapers in a couple of businesses. I wear my "fight against oppression & I will not be known as a quiet woman" tshirts every week.I will not cower.I am not giving in to fear.I stand in witness & am not silent.

Ice and those sent to stop the protesters are violent.Trump's armed militia (I don't know what else to call them) are violent. The resistance is peaceful. The rallies are peaceful. Stop harassing peaceful citizens who are expressing their legal rights.

If Trump were principal at a high school, he'd send the students who work hard and get there every day home. The ones who rarely show up, don't have work completed, bully others, make lewd comments, and actions toward girls would be rewarded. He wouldn't last a year as Principal.

When our President doesn't read & Gabbard considers ways to add animation to his morning briefings I think, "Maybe we need to make anyone running for office take a reading test." You don't pass. You don't run. I know we can't,& shouldn't give a reading test for the right to vote, but we test the

Marriott’s CEO said it straight: “We welcome all… we create opportunities for all… that’s who we are as a company.”

He went back to his hotel to find 40K emails from Marriott associates worldwide saying “thank you.”

Plenty of CEOs talk. Capuano showed up.

Marriott still has my business.

"Do you want a good government or a country that's in ruins?"

This interview was too good not to share in its entirety. So meet Grant, a 15-year-old student from Princeton, New Jersey, who spoke to our reporter at the #HandsOff rally there.

He has some thoughts.

The event brought together all generations and that was refreshing. A teen talked to us, saying he didn't know that there use to be rallies 'all the time,' and they were peaceful like this...he got things mostly right. He ended, "this is great. It feels good."

I'm reading Navalny's book Patriot. So interesting. He says the gov. doesn't always cut programs but they gut the offices. Fire employees. Make people appear for appointments. Many, if not most people, give up. It's too far and complicated to make an appointment. Sound familiar?
