The Jaebrin said 'alrighty then' and just continued to party on their own indefinitely.
Look, maybe this is 'cheating', but it's hands down the Jaebrin from Monster Manual 5. They're elvish fae with mouthfuls of needlesharp teeth they usually cover up with scarves etc.
Forced via enchantment into being court jesters to the fae courts for hundreds of years. Eventually, they grew
