What Texas students learn is being decided today.
TCTELA is in the room.
Several of our members — including our president — are testifying before SBOE in Austin on behalf of Texas teachers and students as critical decisions are being made on the proposed literary works lists.
The time for educator input is immediate and critical.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who completed and shared TCTELA’s survey.
Your voices matter.
But we are not done yet.

The proposed SBOE reading list is on the April meeting agenda.
The research report is being finalized and will play a key role in testimony and advocacy before the SBOE.
