did some digging and dug up smthn in my files that i thought i lost when i tore up my sketchbook in a suicidal fit, as one does.

@ adeernamedmando as a taur, which is a concept i am rather fond of, but i am also just fond of that deer regardless.

a renee cigarette timed quick doodle i just thought was cute. renee wearing her usual clothes with her arm up over her head and cig in mouth.

An art challenge image "draw your oc in an outfit they wouldn't usually ever wear" so i went with Renee with brushed hair, a churchy floral dress ,expensive shoulder bag , open toed shoes ,and not smoking. she stands outside the apartment door.

So the update is i am doing pages now. Just about done with first inking page 3 of 20. Trying to get more dynamism in paneling practice this chapter.
The doodles are an art challenge image (on right) and just a quick doodle (on left) notes in alt text. More stuff soon.

Each sketchbook (I’ve been keeping sketchbooks since I was 14 and I’m 49 now) is a wholly different experience. I’m compelled to treat each sketchbook differently. This one seems to be about drawings I can noodle at over time as opposed to, say, a sketchbook that I fill with gestural quick sketches.
