Scottish brewer #BrewDog owed over half a billion pounds in debt to creditors at the time of its sale to Tilray Brands, with an estimated £480m shortfall expected according to new adminstration documents.

German unit not included and has been liquidated. But Ellon alone ought to set back a buyer more than £100m were the sale conducted on a solvent basis.

Yes, but never on this scale.

Talked repeatedly about what an amazing deal and how Tilray would never have been able to acquire "this much strategic real estate for the amount we paid".

Plans to use BrewDog excess capacity (of which there is plenty) to brew Tilray brands in the UK, & for contract brewing.
