I did most of the event stuff for Sea of Thieves... only missing two challenges. I can live with that.
But I'll be honest, I was thinking about playing Windrose the entire time. Sad, but that's the game I'm enjoying more. So that's what I'll be doing for the rest of my night.

One pet peeve I have, and it's very particular, is when soundtracks sold on Steam don't have the meta data on the audio files edited. And, yes, I then do it myself so it displays when I'm listening.

I think you are spot on there. Because it's a post process over screenspace, it's working with less detail in long shots and hallucinates.
It's not even consistent in its awfulness; they look different in every scene. I imagine playing with this on is going to feel like the gaming equivalent of when they suddenly replaced Pippa's actor in Home & Away.
Yes, I absolutely want the characters in my videogames to look completely different from one scene to the next. /s

First YouTube messed with the Subscriptions feed by forcing the grid view, then they added the unnecessary "Relevant" section interrupting it (as well as Shorts)... and now it doesn't even show all recent videos from Subscriptions... making it useless.

When Rare makes a change that is objectively better for the whole community, and there are still those who object because they wanted to flex and now can't, it really outs the ones who are incredibly selfish.

Fingers crossed the Community Direct next month is better. The game still has a lot of promise and appeal after 8 years, just needs better decision making and better building on existing systems, in my opinion.

If Sarah Bond had taken over Phil Spencer's role, I would have been more optimistic. But her leaving as well makes me think something else is up.
