"I want him to have it better than I ever did."

His childhood had been okay, but he never wanted Robin to see a battlefield.

Bucky walks over, all smiles and kisses Robin's forehead.

"He's absolutely amazing."

His arm slides around Bruce's waist.

"I hope you know I'm gonna be telling you two how proud I am on repeat forever."

Bucky chuckles softly, happier than he'd ever been.

Bucky is close behind, gathering Robin's blanket and carrier, shutting the doors for Bruce.

He knew Alfred would be absolutely delighted with this little bundle of joy.

But Bruce had been different and he'd fallen in love before he could even take a breath. Bruce was patient and kind and always saw the good in things. His laugh touched Bucky's soul.

"Alright boys, we're home."

Bucky announces as he pulls in the driveway for Wayne Manor.

Becky struggled a lot deciding if he should even date anyone. His life had been one war after another heartbreak chaos pain death. Abandonment had been his hardest to deal with especially from his best friend.
