With the Dalton Duchy being protectors of Tor'glen, it fits both Grand Duke Thuron Dalton and his older brother Lord Horace Dalton very well, though Horace takes on their mother's love for botany and includes it in his alchemical work.
Acanthus is a prickly leaf, which matches the Dalton line. Whether likes it or not, he is prickly, like his father.
Flower Symbolism plays an important role for Horace, his mother being a botanist, he knows much of Flora.

The Chapter 1 we have right now I think is cool, but I feel fails to set the environment and lore properly. Too many questions, not enough good ones.
The New Chapter 1 will have Better Lore Introduction, Better Flow, and Sooner Character Interactions.
