I’m still waiting for a game inspired by Anthem’s flight mechanics. There’s so many one-and-dones out there that need spiritual awakening.
Somehow I still blame the Nemesis system being locked away for the overall lack of imagination out there

Can’t believe Sean and team were able to book Dio
You can now play the 15 year old Skyrim on your smart fridge while Crimson Desert reinvents the genre and eats Todd Howard’s lunch
One must wonder if Bethesda will ever be capable of that kind of greatness again. The market is starving for it, so where’s ES6? 15 years is a long time to pretend you’re still in control of the narrative
Crimson Desert legit rules. There’s clearly an overwhelming craving for this type of game, which to me, is really just a craving for something to fill the gap left by the Elder Scrolls. It’s been 15 years since Skyrim, those players and their tastes didn’t just disappear.
can you believe danny fenton was just 14 when his parents built a very strange machine?
Crimson Desert
Tides of Annihilation
Blight: Survival
Phantom Blade Zero
Fans of fantasy action games are going to be beyond spoiled for choice this year. This is one of the most hype, most exciting lineups of genre titles in years. We’re about to be eating real good, and I’m ready for the feast
Well, you can always go shoot guns IRL. Can’t sling magic spells though, so it’ll always have that element of escapism.
One Piece live action season 2 was excellent. Gimmie more
Absolute hype. @andylunique.bsky.social when are we starting the podcast???
I want it to be good, I really do, but this image is giving Liam Hemsworth as Geralt vibes. It’s just…not quite right
An experiential meet and greet where you must challenge your favorite creator to get your merch signed 🤔
US/Canada gold medal hockey is absolutely wild. Incredible pace to this game. It’s a shame they can’t fight at the Olympics because the hate between these guys is real
I think at the heart of it, it’s “I want to experience being 14 again” and a collective grasp for nostalgia and a return to the fleeting feeling of being carefree and ignorant, and that’s a pink elephant that will never be caught.
Turok is coming back and it’s basically this. Should be lit
I’m still buzzing from that episode of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms last night. Incredible, all around incredible. The writing, the cinematography, the acting, the action, the story, the characters. Truly, truly superb stuff.
TRU. And episode 5 was an absolute banger
I’ve seen this video floating around a couple of times already, but this is the first time I’ve seen it with the audio available.
Nearly spit my drink out 😂, that was very unexpected
2KXO should have started as an arcade cabinet at your local arcade and built up an audience organically. I bet it would have found its footing.
What do you mean you don’t have a local arcade?
What do you mean “what’s an arcade?”
The death of third spaces has rippling consequences.
On some level, I view this as a form of preservation.
I don’t know, I don’t think it’s for us. I mean, it’s for us, you know? But when I see remakes like this, I just see it as a way to bring it to the new generation who grew up on the Norse titles and never played these. Sure, the older titles are still accessible, but they’ve become ugly and dated.
There are probably a lot of ways this disaster could have been avoided. Reading the room would have been a good start.
My vae desires to be victis’d, it desires it real bad
One could make an argument that Geoff fucked Wildlight by giving them a spotlight they were unprepared for, but I think the reality is this genre of game is derivative and uninspired.
Concord, Crucible, Highguard. All a poor imitation of League of Legends, and we have League of Legends at home.
I see lots of comparison of Highguard to high profile failed projects like Concord, but really the most apt comparison is Amazon Games much maligned and now defunct Crucible.
Oh, you don’t remember Crucible? I’m not surprised.
My gambit to hold out for a Steam Deck 2 seems like it could have been the wrong move 😅
What kind of holding receptacle are you using to keep the pad safe?
