Not at all just being respectful by not considering human experiences in a similar vein to a car MOT - come back to be when you are respectful to the topic!

The law changes, it is not black and white and does have grey areas of interpretation. Your analogy is not taking the discussion seriously - good day to you.

Interpretations are also subjective and should be based upon updated knowledge regarding the spectrum of biology. For me a woman is based on gender, not sex. Biological sex is female. They say discrimination based on perception of woman - perception is not biological fact!

A sad day for inclusion & treating people with dignity - Supreme Court defines a woman based upon old, essentialist ideas. Feminists 4 years have campaigned that woman is more than just Biology. The court accepts that discrimination is based upon someone PERCEIVED as a woman thus beyond biology.

Please, if you are able, support Independent bookshops.

They are the literary & social hubs of our high streets and communities.

Without their continued support, we simply wouldn't be around to publish .

Thank you.

Interested in a broader perspective around consent including my chapter as to who should consent to name and pronoun choices in education then buy the book. Edited by two legends!
