i spent the last week in the beckett archive at reading university as this year's samuel beckett creative fellow. it was intense, confusing, sometimes disturbing, sometimes boring, strangely exhausting, none of which are bad things. i couldn't photograph beckett's handwriting/manuscripts so here's:
