Sadly this is the labeller we were depending on for our AI image filter. While this labeller is down our AI filter will be less effective.
We are and we are using Bluesky's own data for images! We already have a basic web app that allows you to search and curate the images you find, using your existing Bluesky account
Definitely nowhere near as mature as Pinterest, but always open to feedback to make us better
There is plenty of alternatives, including our site which uses Bluesky data to find you images in a similar way to Pinterest. Check us out!

Pinterest definitely shines when it comes to finding related images. But it also has a lot more data from its users pinning images. You need both for a good experience.
Currently the cost vs. benefit ratio isn't there to warrant indexing all of Bluesky's images for a better more Pinterest-like algo
What kind of labelling do you have in mind? Images are already pretty well labelled via alt text. So it's already very possible to find a lot of great images with Bluesky's own search.

That's another client for our lexicon, not sure about it's status, but we're still very much alive.
