Homelander vs MGR Raiden is just the Armstrong fight except Armstrong played college ball, so it's over faster

I'm addition to being less useful, less pleasant to look at and less easy to use, and breaking historic posts designed for gallery, the carousel interface takes the same input as switching feeds in the mobile app, so you can accidentally give the wrong instruction quite easily. Classic ui blunder

dhuartson: Don't let anyone talk you out of spending $15 on a new hobby. That $50 will be the best $400 you ever spent.
This is not wrong.
it is devastating to notice how few benches there are in the world and how some benches have been replaced by weird "leaning" things. the world is incredibly cruel to disabled, elderly, poor, pregnant, tired, homeless, and all people. there should be benches fucking everywhere for everyone
I've seen a lot of "Who would win, Superman vs ____" questions, but honestly the answer is probably just "Superman would be nice to them and they wouldn't have to fight"
I really respect him for recognizing that and accepting it. The ability to say "you know what? I was wrong" in response to new information is so important
I concur. I'd go as far as to say some institutions very much should be separate from the state to help guard against abuse, too
Oh, I'm fully on board with some things being private (w/regulation).
For-profit market-driven fails to fill the need for stuff like healthcare, where pricing anyone out of quality services is a moral failure, but it's not inherently wrong for, as in your example, luxury items!
for those not familiar with the history, the first American to die in an (acknowledged) Autopilot crash was named Joshua Brown

couple of days late on this, but had to do a double take when I saw the name of the driver
listen, if your name is Joshua Brown I would just avoid using Tesla's driving automation altogether at this point!

My counter-argument, as a leftist rather than liberal, is that you get the same kind of structures growing in private organizations, with the added dangers of the profit motive.
But I'm very much open to "some things genuinely operate better as a market with regulation and safety net"
we all know I have no life, so:
"should we really resort to playing dirty to defeat the nazis i–"
yes. kick em in the fucking balls. what kind of question is that. grow the fuck up
Matt Damon playing a 14th century French knight that looks like a third baseman for the Phillies. Mullet. Beard. Smells like horse shit, pine tar, and cigarette smoke.
Matt Damon while playing Odysseus who also looks like a third baseman for the Phillies. Long, skinny beard. Smells like horseshit, pine tar, and perhaps Mediterranean herbs.
Matt Damon playing a 19th century cowboy that looks like a third baseman for the Phillies. Mustache. Shaggy hair. Smells like horse shit, pine tar, and definitely chewing tobacco.
Every time Matt Damon takes on a period role he ends up looking like a third baseman for the Phillies.
A friend of mine had a sort of inverse experience, where the music at Small World broke, leaving the only sound the mechanical chattering of the figures.
It was horrifying.
Darn near killed 'em.
Haro would do a better job TBH

the real thing about Fahrenheit is that it tells you which temperatures are unfair. if it's 15°F out that's cold, sure. but if it's -15°F, that's unreasonable and you deserve sympathy. likewise heat above 100°F automatically makes a story pitiable. that means it's more than 100% hot.
I'm not one to laugh at anyone's pain during downtime, but if you are going to run around touting that a vastly-unpopular tool has helped your code while also acting like an entitled asshole, it cannot be a shocking surprise when users are quick to turn on you when things go bad.
if you're writing your post-apocalyptic story you have to take into account in your "lost technology" narrative that this guy figured out how to make RAM in his garage.

The Rooster Teeth logo from 2023 to 2024. A stylized R meant to look like a rooster head followed by the words Rooster Teeth. It's in a garish orange and weird ass blue
Tweet from Rooster Teeth twitter account dated May 18, 2023. Tweet reads: Check on your friends who are still talking shit about the new logo. They need you more than you know.
Tweet to Rooster Teeth that says: "Congrats on 20 years! But I have to be brutally honest: I don't really like the new logo. XD" Reply from Rooster Teeth: "We disagree! But love that you're having fun with your free speech!"
Remember when Rooster Teeth did a rebrand with garish colours that hurt to look at and a logo that made it look like a fast food chicken place and the official twitter got really defensive over it any time people complained about it and then the company closed less than a year later
And then there's Omega Supreme, the Most Last
