As the stairway dissipates, the air thickens, is caustic, tightening your throat and restricting your breath with the acidic fumes. You cough and tears of blood drip from the sides of your mouth. The heavy smoke makes way and you see a swamp of poison. Large mushrooms overhang pools of sickly green, a mucus thick soup of diseased vapour. The ground oozes under your step, and the muck stains your boots, beginning to corrode and steam. From these pools, the hands of drowned giants stretch out and, through necrotic galvanism, flex and grasp at nothing, as disease-heavy dragonflies flit between their foul fingers. At the far end of this chamber of sickness, the alchemical station of a mad god, with tinctures and ointments fashioned from the pools of disease in which they have drowned titans. Bloody hell. At the far end of the chamber, light begins to shimmer in the jaundiced yellow shade of pus and vomit.___________________________________________________________This map is a commission.
