Sorry if I was a bit socially awkward, Ron. :)

I can’t remember if I’ve posted this before. I have an aversion to asking friends for autographs but, in this case, there’s something particularly unique about these… :) #vinyl #ontheturntable #music
Sasha got us up early this morning so, in honour of running into @ronsexsmith.bsky.social yesterday whilst walking with my friends Stuart and Bruce, I put on his latest. For me, it’s less cigarette and cocktail and more Earl Grey tea. Nice to see you, Ron.
A little quiet moment with Simon, Patrick, Elton, and Lady on a beautiful Friday afternoon. Well, sort of quiet. Sasha was excited to see the fish again after such a long winter. #koi #koipond #fish #cuddlyfish #stratfordontario
Sometimes you have to go into graphic detail to say, “It may feel good in the moment, but you’ll hate yourself in the morning”. :)
Sasha and I opened up part of the pond, scooped out lots of algae, cleaned the filters and skimmer, and added more water. It’s such a joy to see the little punks again. They looked happy to see us, too! One more week of good temps and I’ll pull the entire greenhouse down until late autumn.
And yet their ad revenue is significant even with test markets enabled. It’ll take a bit more time for the bubble to burst. It can’t be soon enough.
I *am* a drummer joke. :)
I think I’ll write a book called Going Clear: An Old Man’s Struggle to Drink Enough Water During The Day.
Use the tools you have and ask for help when the toolkit is empty. I’ve been dealing with some darkness, myself. There is light out there.
What a dick. :)
So, this whole tweet really just says, “I’m a shit parent, rich, and I let my spoiled kid say anything to anyone because of it.”
So irritating.
The moth joke is legendary.
While we don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, this shot of Sasha having a morning cupcake was pretty great!
Blocklists and careful curation are wonderful things. I also have mute words added. Bluesky is my breath of fresh air. I’ll take fewer followers for better content all day long.
You may be too young to remember the original Philips Bodygroom ad campaign.
Not much remains of the original content, but someone was kind enough to upload these two (hair free) tidbits nearly 20 years ago:

We have two bengals. I understand.
How’s that policy of appeasing the bully working?
“Freedom of speech.”
Who will Lewandowski be fucking now? Or will she just invite him to a gravel pit somewhere…
I could not agree more. And then vote him out.
This is going to be amazing. We’re raising funds for United Housing, a subsidiary of United Way Perth-Huron.
Fear of rising oil prices? It couldn’t be US interests in oil, or US intervention jn Venezuelan investment in oil. Or all the Iranian oil that the US might want to constrain to drive costs up. Or even all those ghost tankers being shut down in international waters carrying non-US oil.
Happy anniversary! Just wished Jeremy a happy 25th anniversary, as well.
“Reform UK leader Nigel Farage said on Monday that Parliament should not pass legislation to remove the former prince from the line of succession "until the police have finished their jobs". He also cautioned against a "trial by media".”
Complete nonce-sense.
This is Wesley Crusher’s static warp shell, @wilwheaton.net
I have an aversion to asking people I know for autographs. So when I last saw my buddy Rich Brown playing with @larnelllewismusic.bsky.social and @jeremyledbetter.bsky.social, I had them all sign an album for each other. Monster players, all. #music #vinyl #album #ontheturntable
My favourite description of lacrosse from Wikipedia:
“In the traditional aboriginal Canadian version, each team consisted of about 100 to 1,000 men on a field several miles/kilometers long. These games lasted from sunup to sundown for two to three days straight […]”
Each. Team. :)
I’ll also point out that our national summer sport is lacrosse. Imagine hockey but with a hard ball and what looks like baseball bats with nets attached at the end.
