Aye. I find Oasis a bit stadium-rockish, often with meaningless lyrics, somewhat shouty, and very repetitive. Noel's Birds have a more mature sound and there is more depth there. More thoughtful. Like you I own nothing by either party, but it's based on what I hear hither, and also, thither.
