Hello hello! Here are some glorious October books for children and teenagers, featuring dogs, Death, pink-cheeked vampires, hummingbird drones, family secrets and coming to terms with painful change. The quality of writing for kids is SO HIGH at present - winnowing the post is almost impossible!

Oh my little boy just read Escape Room and he was totally engrossed! Can’t wait to read it myself! This festival looks fab too (must find out more about it for next time)
