I think it's valid to enjoy something and also to be critical of it at the same time.

I just think kids deserve plot and character development from movies. I grew up with those things, I think they help shape who we are positively. The Lego Movie and the Spiderverse movies are proof that it can still be done these days.

also for the record, I don't care if it's the best show ever created or "not even that good". its quality is irrelevant. the money it makes will be used to directly fund efforts to take away trans people's rights and that should be the end of the conversation.
