Feeding otters
We love the GoT series (yes the books). And it's not necessarily the "realities of war" it's this thing that some authors (mostly new ones) like to do, usually with detailed SA scenes that only reason to be there is for shock, not necessary for the actual plot. GoT (TV series got bad at this too)
I want to reas Poppy War but I'm scared of it now. My SO DNF'd it (which he never does) for being triggering (which he doesn't have) for being "too descriptive of war atrocities that doesn't really seem like it HAS to be there.
Any one reas this book that likes it?

Mr. Herne, what's your beef with Denny's? I get that it's not great food, nearly more of a fastfood chain, but... you take a stab at it in ever series. Even the Seven Kennings which is not set on Earth at all, I am convinced.
