Demonstrators as far as the eye can see. Current status of the march in Downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota for Ice Out of Minnesota. They are turning onto 3rd Street from 5th Avenue.

Started yesterday, and we’re planning multiple outings Saturday and Sunday to as many of these small businesses as we can!

Was thinking the same thing. I live in a town right near where this happened. Thrilled to see so many people mobilizing to help - and horrified that these SAME people are just fine with *other* children being kidnapped. WTF?

ICE ended up returning the man, Saly, after realizing he’s a fucking US citizen with no criminal record, per his sister-in-law. These fucking animals.

“protesters” are not “clashing” with law enforcement. violent federal agents have waged war on minneapolis and regular people are telling them to get the fuck out. and last time i checked being in a group chat doesn’t mean you’re in a professional organization. it means you have friends.

I just want it to be really clear, to people from out of the area, if they see pictures of fires in Minneapolis: THEY WERE STARTED BY ICE. NOT BY PROTESTERS. NOT BY RESIDENTS.

We’ve had activity in Maple Grove and Monticello, with unconfirmed sightings in Otsego and Elk River, so it appears the surge is here. Definitely active in St Cloud - I’m sure to terrorize the large Somali population there.

It is. I work directly with youth experiencing homelessness where even when they do get SNAP, it’s not enough to keep them from going hungry. The trauma this administration is inflicting is unconscionable.

Are we in court yet to fight the newest attack (cutting off all USDA funding- food stamps - to MN)? Because this just applies to the earlier cuts the administration made, correct?

Any idea how soon this could go before a judge to block it?

We should all sit with this ICE murder. Any one of us could be executed by ICE, and our government wouldn’t bat an eye. Instead they’d just lie about us to the world.

I work with young adults experiencing homelessness and witness this every day — they don’t have the bandwidth for anything else if they’re hungry or tired, and with SNAP benefits paused, the situation is even more dire.

I’ve always had a hard time comprehending how the Rwandan genocide could happen (neighbors killing neighbors, etc.). I hate that I can see it more clearly now.

The problem with allowing guns everywhere is that no one is safe anywhere.
