Philip Bailey, Phil Collins - Easy Lover
Philip Bailey, Phil Collins - Easy Lover YouTube video by PhilipBaileyVEVO

Something occurred to me over the weekend. Did we ever get to see the finished promotional video of Easy Lover by Phil Collins & Philip Bailey? I've only ever seen the 'Making of' documentary linked below.
Come on, Phil, it's been 42 years now! www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkRK...

I don't think Lauren ended up in the final movie, but here is she, myself and others doing some pre-production make up tests on my 37th birthday, no less. www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL9Y...

Artist, Brett Ewins use of light and shadowing here is sublime. This might be one of my favourite ever prog covers yet!

We all remember the Blue Peter badge*, but did anyone ever possess a Magpie badge? There was enough of them. The criteria to gain ownership was a bit overthought in my opinion. Whatever. I need this whole gorgeous collection.
Love old badges, me.

*Sorry if I'm being a bit presumptuous here.

If 2000AD eras were the history of rock?
The comic started with a nostalgic rock & roll feel, but quickly pogoed into full on punk, skipped New Wave, then oddly regressed into prog rock but went head long into NWOBHM. Judging by this cover, we're in the thrash metal period.

Sounds Electronic - The Boneschi Electronic Combo (1973)

I can't decide if I have awful taste in music or superb taste in music. I suppose it's all subjective, innit?
