Many years ago I played Sunday football. We were an ok side, but had an awful goalkeeper - literally every shot the opposition took, it went in the goal. We would start well, nearly score, then concede, without fail. It was so demoralising.
Anyway. Man Utd play Burnley at 3pm today.

Pleased with this one. Only really have time for blitz these days, but it's really helping my instincts - would not have made those kingside pawn pushes 18 months ago.

It just destroys the Caro, it’s absolutely incredible. Even if black knows how to respond, the positions are so challenging for them you often win anyway!
What do you play against 3… c5? I’m a 4. dxc Nc6 5. a3 guy
1. e4 c6 might be my favourite opening to face in all of chess.

There’s a lot of crossover in London vs KID setups involving white pushing g- and h- pawns, exchange sac’ing the h1 rook for the black knight and going for the neck, but they’re often premature and ultimately ineffectual… very threatening at the time though 🤷🏽♂️
