Andy Kershaw has died, aged 66.
Loved listening to his radio show back in the day.

I saw them at @edenproject.bsky.social as well
I was at that gig!

I think I've still got a bottle of that in the back of my medicine cabinet.
Hope it's not out of date.
I think that must have been when I was persuaded to take my friend's younger brother and his mate to see the UK Subs at Plymouth's Monroe's. No idea why my friend didn't go.
3 for me!
Great song!
I really must listen to more Pentangle.
So it turns out paying people a living wage doesn’t collapse the economy; it’s almost like the rich have been lying to us to maintain their power over our lives.
I tend to prefer male country singers and female folk singers.
Thanks @singingconductor.bsky.social
for reminding me that he's on the cover of 'Jurassic Shift' by Ozric Tentacles.
The last Genesis album I bought.
@mrjamesob.bsky.social Tom sounded just like Patrick Moore.
That's where I saw them!
Truly one of the all time great takes
The last group I saw.
A fellow pupil at secondary school brought the record into school and asked the music teacher to play it. She did play it. She said she didn't like the A side but did like the B side.
I loved this song on record but can't listen to him doing it live. The way his voice drops at the end of those 2 lines totally ruins it for me.
I can't imagine living in a country where idiots like that are roaming freely.
The longer the better!
Julian Cope and The Christians maybe for me.
Ah. Photoshop.
I was doubtful because there are many prog bands that I don't like.
Does anyone recognise the wizard next to the Aqualung character top right?
I have the album but can't for the life of me think who it's by.
I'd forgotten about 'Daddy Longlegs' 😃
I think you must have missed some! I've got 10. I can't believe that I've got more of these prog albums than you.
I saw them at The Fiesta Suite in Plymouth in 1978. He was excellent, as was his band.
I prefer this album to Aqualung.
Jethro Tull or early Genesis.
I have 2 (vinyl).
JT and Stones.
