I'm also convinced that Luis Robert is still finsding his way in the Citi Field OF. Getting used to the real estate out there with two, sometimes three new teammates. He's not the first guy with a GG ceiling to struggle a bit defensively for the first time here. Ask Mike Cameron.
David Peterson is struggling, yes, but there is a reason he's still in the rotation, and will probably be there for at least a few more starts. It always amazes me when some folks are so willing to throw away left-handers, esp homegrown ones.
Hey folks, long time no talk.
It's been a busy few months, getting 2 podcasts back u & running every week, Tue at 2pm; Gotham Sports Machine podcast w Jack Healey; Fri at 2pm; Gotham Baseball LIVE podcast w Peter Schwartz.

One of the very best - and mostly unknown - covers of an Elvis Presley song ever. This a live version, used as part of an album called “The Last Temptation of Elvis”

I’m rewatching The Flash and noticed that Bruce Wayne really overlooked that spaghetti. Gross.

Political BlueSky is equally as terrible as Political Twitter and Facebook.
Stop kidding yourselves.
So many wonderful artists and writers have graced @GothamBaseball with their talents over its 29 years.
John Pennisi’s art has been a huge part of our brand. We would not be the same without him.
One of the great events Gotham Baseball sponsored over the years was The Gotham Cup, the brainchild of Gene Berardelli and Ken “Trolley” Schlapp. Playing 1864 rules, the Gothams faced off in an invitational Base Ball tourney at Central Park.
I didn’t attend Notre Dame, but I’ve been a Fighting Irish fan since 1975.

Bring in 2025!
Hey, look who joined the party!
If #Mets decide Pete Alonso isn’t worth what he’s asking, I’m going to put my money on David Stearns.
To paraphrase Bill Veeck Sr., when you only listen to the fans, pretty soon you’ll be sitting in the grandstand with them.
I think they are both full of baloney

RIP to the Man of Steal, Rickey Henderson. I just completed this illustration a couple of weeks ago.
My son Jack just made me switch to the Penn State game 😁
A movie about the real Santa and a movie about terrorists, not the same.
I grew up watching Star Trek TOS reruns on a black & white TV. I even worked for a company in LA that ran Star Trek conventions across the country.
My only complaint about the Superman teaser is if Krypto is CGI, why isn’t he comic accurate? That “dog” is not a white Labrador retriever
The best ever captain in NY Hockey history is Denis Potvin.
Period.
I’ve watched every Star Trek film, series, documentary, spinoff, etc. All except Voyager, which I’m watching for the first time.
Got to say, it’s very good. But just like TNG, it took a while to get really good.
It’s in LA. No such thing as Christmas in LA.
Bleh
