NEW—I got an exclusive excerpt from a USAID whistleblower's new book that made me gasp multiple times. It details Trump's dismantling of the humanitarian aid agency & his team/DOGE's shocking ignorance to public health.
'Into the Wood Chipper' by Nicholas Enrich is out tomorrow. Read excerpt here:
Lord of the rings,
Shawshank Redemption,
Fargo,
Raiders of the lost arc
We can’t wait to share the next full section of playable gameplay from War of the Western Deep at PAX West this summer! Lots of fun new stuff afoot!

FUCK YEAH INTEGRITY
#ArtemisII crew live views as they accelerate up to incredible speeds before skipping off the atmosphere prior to splash down in the hands of #NASA Engineer teams. Gonna be a hell of a ride!
A screenshot of the Artemis livestream with the Integrity module on the left and a half-illuminated Earth getting big on the screen in the center. The black of space is all around.
The #Artemis II livestream continues to be the best thing on the internet. 😍
The return-to-Earth live coverage begins at 6:30pm Eastern (in about 90 minutes) with splashdown in the Pacific scheduled for 8:07pm Eastern.

Our gorgeous blue marble - getting bigger every second in the viewcam from the Orion spacecraft on it's way back to splashdown today. Taken at 5:35pm Eastern - snapped directly off NASA's livestream - credit NASA.
Earth starting to fill up that view finder as our intrepid heroes return at multiple times the speed of sound. Just an incredibly awesome view of our home. 😍 🌏 Splashdown coming up in the next few hours - Godspeed #ArtemisII Crew!
a low resolution screen shot from the artemis 2's outside camera showing the module, but then also the most beautiful and simple view of a crescent earth, with blue water, and swirling white clouds
this is so crazy. like this is their little outside webcam, their shitty little low-res webcam image.
it really is just LIKE that... it's just how it looks, normally.
I kindof get it now. the "look at that you bastard" feeling. oh my god. I am a bit emotional lmao #artemis

I keep running into people and I start talking about #ArtemisII and how unbelievably cool it is and they go: “oh yeah right I guess that’s happening” and I’m like: “WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU GUESS?!?”
How can you not just absolutely lose your mind over photos like this??
Earthset captured through the Orion spacecraft window at 6:41 p.m. EDT, April 6, 2026, during the Artemis II crew’s flyby of the Moon. A muted blue Earth with bright white clouds sets behind the cratered lunar surface. The dark portion of Earth is experiencing nighttime. On Earth’s day side, swirling clouds are visible over the Australia and Oceania region. In the foreground, Ohm crater has terraced edges and a flat floor interrupted by central peaks. Central peaks form in complex craters when the lunar surface, liquefied on impact, splashes upwards during the crater’s formation. [alt text from NASA]
#Artemis II lunar flyby images are showing up! 😍
A crescent Earth setting behind the Moon.
LOVE the science team excitement at hearing about 4 meteor impacts 😍 so so cool 🚀🌕
This mission has me inspired and hopeful again

Excellent read as always!
A picture of Leonard Nimoy as Spock, and the text reads: CANON IS ONLY IMPORTANT TO CERTAIN PEOPLE BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO CLING TO THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF THE MINUTIAE, OPEN YOUR MIND! BE A 'STAR TREK' FAN AND OPEN YOUR MIND AND SAY, 'WHERE DOES STAR TREK WANT TO TAKE ME NOW'" - LEONARD NIMOY, REUTERS MAY 5, 2009
Simple truths.
NASA just dropped this image of Artemis II astronaut Christina Koch looking back at us. The first woman to ever see our planet in its entirety. I’m not crying you’re crying 🥹🔭🧪 📸: NASA
Love this piece!
Page one: text on black background, “WAKE UP!”. Eyes open, a baby sea turtle with an eggshell helmet says, “you need to wake up!”
Page 2: helmet turtle says to a green baby sea turtle, who is waking up out off his egg, “we need to get moving.” CRASH! A cormorant breaks through the ceiling of their nest hole. Helmet turtle says MOVE!
Page 3: “when you’re out there, beeline to the water. Don’t stop. Don’t be a hero. Godspeed.” The helmet turtle kicks baby green turtle out the hole off a cliff onto the beach below.
Page 4: baby green turtle lands on the sand. The distance between him and the water is quite large. Another baby sea turtle is being devoured by a seagull and is screaming for help.
I dreamt of the beach (1/4)

Just an incredible shot of our home
Dismayed to discover that after watching #NASA #ArtemisII launch coverage all day that tomorrow is indeed a work day and I apparently “have to go to sleep” to “support my family” and “have responsibilities”... I’ll have to see how the apoapse maneuvers went tomorrow morning in the playback. 😭😴
Footage captured from passengers on an airliner above Florida, showing the exact moment the Artemis II mission lifts off.
You guys I can’t explain how much I love this. I know things are crazy out there but this… this is real. This is something to be proud of as a HUMAN. incredible stuff and it’s not a private company pissing around with high atmosphere. I’m so happy to have been here for this. #NASA #ArtemisII 🌕🚀
Good launch! 🚀 😭❤️
T-10m to launch on #ArtemisII let’s goooo! Strap in everyone!
Lego assembly kits of the Artemis 1 SLS platform and the ISS next to it! (A Star Wars kit is also here but today is about NASA!)
Featured here is the Saturn V Lego kit against a backdrop painting of a nebula my wife painted! 😍. The Discovery shuttle and Hubble telescope, and Apollo moon lander kits all Lego. Can you see a theme? Also a light saber and my dogs bed - also important
So incredibly ready for today’s planned #ArtemisII launch! A few of my favorite #LEGO kits including the SLS rocket assembly which was SO fun to build, and an art piece by my lovely wife to backdrop my Saturn V kit! Can’t wait to see today’s launch - inspiring to see what humans are capable of!
