Our current drama is that we missed seeing The Drama on our ONE AND ONLY CHANCE to see a movie and saw a movie that nobody in the world is talking about and also makes you look at the same subway station the ENTIRE MOVIE (also, it was my fault, I’m very annoyed with myself)

My corollary is that I thought season 1 of the Bear was stressful in a way that I really didn’t like. There is a lot of stress in the ER but it is generally managed quite competently

It’s heavy, and some parts are very gross (I cover my eyes a lot) but I don’t think stressful is the right word. There is still a lightness, I still laugh every episode. But I get it! I think you would know from episode 1 is it’s something you can do or not.

We’re working through the first season and yes, it’s very good and I’m obsessed

In good news, the tornado siren near school does work.

Today my class was interrupted by a loon call (?!) over the loudspeaker so I had to stop and explain what a loon is to my newcomers (an honor, would gladly be interrupted for loons).

Then I’m asking questions after school to try to figure out WHY a loon call was heard and things got even weirder
