Chu Wanning stands in the harsh lighting of the bathroom when the lights flicker around him. Days of constantly feeling someone's presence and unexplained bumps in the night finally bring him to open his mouth.
"Is anyone here?"
Nothing. He finds himself meeting his own eyes in the mirror under the bright light of the bathroom. He's not sure what he expected. Even as he’s grappling for an explanation outside of the supernatural, the lights go off. This time when he looks back at himself in the mirror, he is not alone. There is a pale hand resting possessively around his neck, one finger angled up to rest behind his ear. The hand is connected to rich purple robes which disappear into the solid impenetrable darkness behind him. The hand itself is covered in vicious cuts though the dark red that Chu Wanning spots in them makes him think they're long dried.
Against his will, he shivers.
