It seems when it comes to horror games "Creepy" is seen as interchangeable with "Scary". Probably explains why most horror games are crap.

in addition to this I think it's worth bearing in mind that one of bluesky's tech leads once put his phone in a swimming pool because it was overheating then was surprised that this broke it
1. people reflexively blame AI for problems because it's obviously harmful in many domains
2. Bluesky (now "entirely AI-coded" acc. to staff) keeps breaking
3. AI is blamed. Devs say no, it's web service issues, scold AI-blamers for their ignorance
4. devs admit it was actually AI code at fault

On the one hand, cool crossover. On the other hand I don't think time limited FOMO events for a game that's been in Early Access 6 years and is badly in need of long-delayed updates is something they should be spending their time on.
Not once in the 80s, 90s or 00s do I recall a politician urging the public to embrace email, mobile phones, texting, two factor authentication, online banking, air fryers, or to replace all their cassette collection with a CD collection.
