I noticed this thing with people (support or just day-to-day people you talk with) where if you ask two questions, they never ever answer both of them. And it's not queued either. Sometimes they answer the first one, sometimes the second one.
Why does almost everyone do this?

Wonder when the first IP over Thunderbolt switch is coming out and who is going to make it.
Regardless, it will probably cost an arm and a leg.
I tried Gleam for Advent of Code, and I get the hype.
AoC was only 12 days this year (24 parts). The easy days were tougher than usual, the hard days were hard but fun.
Rust-like compiler errors, pipes everywhere, echo is great, fold_until feels like cheating.

I was watching Michael Stevens on the Within Reason podcast and around hour 1 minute 14, Michael says: "Who decided the C# means Azure?".
I know this one!! Microsoft did!
Now that's quite nice isn't it. Whats the editor support story like? Any good plugins?

Hey @b0rk.jvns.ca, I was reading your lovely blog post about BGP again, and you linked bgpview.io in it, but:
> BGPView will shut down on 26 November 2025. Thank you for using the service. For comparable BGP lookup and analysis, we recommend BGP.Tools.
Might be worth changing URLs to that?
The fact that nVidia makes 2x more revenue from networking (Mellanox) than from gaming (<10%) is kind of crazy.
I know it doesn't matter, but the fact that Xcode shows the phone colour in the menu bar is the cutest thing ever. We need more whimsical things like this in tech!

I wish @blender3d.bsky.social was on the list!
AGI has been achieved internally
I wish @github.com would have a visual diff for images where they overlap and show the difference that way.
They support 2-up, swipe, and onion skin, but for small differences, none of those help at all a glance.
I spent ages looking into what RO AI is supposed to be, for example, and I still have no idea, but it’s basically a bunch of Unis together.
Honestly I don’t really care because this would be specifically for me. Thanks for the idea!
I actually want this for iOS more.
I use Moonlight on my phone to see my computer screen when I am out and about. My headphones and mic connect through 2.4 GHz. I wish I could see that PiP even if I couldn’t interact.
My homelab has better uptime (more 9s) than AWS. Sure, it’s only during the past 24 hours, but that’s something!
So I am debugging a weird networking issue that happens when I stream only Parsec or Sunshine, but not both at the same time. How's your weekend?
I love the text. I think its way more than enough really!
Fantastic post. Honestly, I hope someone makes a YouTube video on this, because I feel like that has more reach for those that are not already bought into this.
The Nix Repl is goated. That’s it. That’s the tweet.
So Sonnet 4.5 is a downgrade when it comes to making buckets in Blender, even with the new screenshot viewer feature.
The iPhone 17 pro max sim slot is identical to the 15 pro max one, except the bottom bit is inverted.
So you can’t interchange them, but you can plug one into the other 90% of the way.
Broke 10k multi-core score on geekbench on my phone!
