I had a first therapy consultation on Friday, to asses what I need, and when I told them everything I've been through in the past 12 months, they were like, "Oh..."

Like genuinely seeing them shocked was so funny. 😅

Protests shutting down infrastructure over fuel prices. And then in the next few weeks will have similar fuel shortages that the rest of Europe will start experiencing.

Food should be relatively okay. It won't get that bad. It'll just be "non-essential" stuff you could see go from shelves.

5 weeks should be enough though, don't panic just yet. I can't see this (blocking of infrastructure) continuing past a month. I've bought 4 months worth for Indy, just to be sure though.

Might be worth looking at pet stores in Northern Ireland that will deliver to the south. But I've just seen DPD has suspended all services, so yeah... That might not even be an option.

Indy can thankfully eat mostly anything, but she has one food that agrees with her the best. When I went to the pet store there and bought two bags, I could only get one of the better one (turkey and rice). I asked when they'd get more and they shrugged and said they didn't know, which wasn't great.

If you are in Ireland and there's anything you need, but could be deemed non essential (eg pet food, certain medications etc), Buy. It. Now.
