Decided to put some of my thoughts into words about my studies so far, thinking about doing this every now and then as accountability.

I had forgotten that truly pushing to learn is often accompanied with a strong feeling of being lost that can be frustrating.

I've learned to be kind to myself, to focus more on what's interesting, that failing is ok, and that progress takes time.

But I can't quite grasp what do it about this one.

10 years of progress, goddamn my back hurts

posting this 'ol thing again for no reason

Time and place of course, sometimes instinct is what I need, other times I need to problem solve and I pause everything, but it got to the point that having some kind of noise going feels like part of my process, I don't like that.

Something I do when I get back into the groove of studying regularly, is rekindling my relationship with silence.

I think that, on my quest of sharpening my instinctual thought-process while drawing, I got a bit too used to bombarding my senses at all times to quiet down my critical voice.

For fun, I imagine this concept as a sort of zombified nurse/medic but with more of a slant of fixing the body the way you would a garment, on the more gory side stitching together live and dead body parts, in the more abstract maybe making brand new parts like you would for a doll.
