At lunchtime today, VERTIC Programme Director for National Implementation Thomas Brown will speak at a side event to the 6th meeting of the BWG Working Group. The event will share experiences on national implementation in Southeast Asia and showcase the successes of EU CBRN CoE Project 81 (BIOSEC).
The IAEA and Iran met this week on restarting nuclear safeguards inspections after recent US and Israeli strikes. VERTIC's Hugh Chalmers explained in @thebulletin.org how Iran, the IAEA, and its Member States can help overcome obstacles in the way of this goal.

Last week, VERTIC held a workshop on nuclear latency and irreversibility, with support of our partners at ONN. Participants explored indicators of nuclear latency and possible future verification measures in a disarmed or disarming and tested these concepts in a tabletop exercise.
