It really is always amazing to me that Trump and Republicans have it down to a science dangling a steady diet of culture war nonsense like Cracker Barrel, Bud Light & jeans ads to keep their supporters from noticing that everything they do is to enrich themselves & billionaires.

People missing an important point about folks getting fired for whatever they said about Charlie Kirk: Americans are being conditioned to be snitches on their fellow citizens who don’t toe a party line on what is “allowed” to be expressed. And employers are going along. It’s the new secret police

The vast majority of the political violence in this country the past 20yrs has been committed by right wing extremists. That’s the truth. And another truth is this: No public figure is more divisive than Donald Trump. None.👇

Good morning. Trump is protecting Epstein files. The confederacy lost and they were traitors, mRNA vaccines are the future, cops shouldn’t wear masks, Trump cut taxes for the rich and ripped benefits from the poor.

Have a weekend

So after 6 years of Republicans calling Democrats pedophiles, they have been exposed at the party who defends pedophelia.

After our last report on conditions inside ICE detention centers, the latest DHS propaganda makes a chilling kind of sense now. The official DHS X account posted a WWII-style poster urging people to “REPORT ALL FOREIGN INVADERS,” complete with the ICE tip line to report undocumented neighbors.

It features a militarized Uncle Sam and fear-driven messaging, eerily similar to the kinds of posters used by Nazi Germany to encourage citizens to turn in Jews, immigrants, and other so-called “undesirables.” This isn’t patriotism. It’s historical echo.

Another day of a Trump presidency.

More chaos, drama, and insanity.

Just like yesterday, just like tomorrow.

Fascists want to provoke violence so they can justify crackdowns and get some good footage to distort for state propaganda outlets

Rep. Laurel Libby, R-Auburn, recently used my second-place finish in the 1,600-meter run, and that of my teammate in the 800-meter run, to malign Soren Stark-Chessa, the trans-identified athlete who finished first.

One of the reasons I chose to run cross-country and track is the community: Teammates cheering each other on, athletes from different schools coming together, and the fact that personal improvement is valued as much as, if not more than, the place we finish.

Last Friday, I ran the fastest 1,600-meter race I have ever run in middle school or high school track and earned varsity status by my school’s standards. I am extremely proud of the effort I put into the race and the time that I achieved. The fact that someone else finished in front of me didn’t diminish the happiness I felt after finishing that race. I don’t feel like first place was taken from me. Instead, I feel like a happy day was turned ugly by a bully who is using children to make political points.

We are all just kids trying to make our way through high school. Participating in sports is the highlight of high school for some kids. No one was harmed by Soren’s participation in the girls’ track meet, but we are all harmed by the hateful rhetoric of bullies, like Rep. Libby, who want to take sports away from some kids just because of who they are.

Sully shows how Fox & Republicans regularly focus on trans athletes to distract from the real problems they ignore. 🎯

The rule of law is all or nothing and must apply equally to everyone. If there's no rule of law for some people in America, then there's no rule of law for any of us.

If only the people who voted for Trump experienced this pain, I’d be totally fine with that. Unfortunately, they’re forcing ALL of us to suffer — and working and middle class Americans will be hurt the most.
