Are there any @groktr.bsky.social Grok 4.0 users here for coding? I am having severe truncation issues in every file I upload, it cant even process a single txt with 120k characters in it in a fresh chat.. ChatGTP/Gemini can work with 10x file size and numbers. Any tips would be appreciated.

Spatial Swipe Board - Progress Update (July 2025)
Spatial Swipe Board - Progress Update (July 2025) YouTube video by Sertac Guven

New video taking stock of current features of the Spatial Swipe Keyboard that I am building. The aim is to develop something that would be more accurate and customizable than the one Meta Quest offers.

What are some features you would want to see in an XR keyboard?

Updating and adding features is a breeze, everything is handled through the chat interface then repeating the zip/upload workflow above. I am not sure how it would perform with advanced features like e-commerce, but for simple portfolio pages, I strongly recommend giving it a try! #webdev #aistudio

At one point it told me I hit the 10mb project limit. I then asked Gemini how to export this to my Hostinger account and it taught me how to convert the React project into JS and how to structure the folders in hostinger. I downloaded the zip, converted into JS and uploaded the dist folder. 3/4

With other visual website building tools, I never could get the consistency/accuracy across mobile/tablet/desktop modes and it always ended up being a pain to update. AI Studio has a very user friendly interface that combines the chatbot, project hierarchy, code and preview windows side by side 2/4

After the Google I/O presentation, I tried Google AI Studio to update my portfolio website that was built with a Wix-like tool. I have no experience building websites with code, but after about 5 hours, I now have a fairly good looking, well performing portfolio page: sertac.me

While I am spending a lot of time thinking how I can find more spatial&VR native UX/UI for my apps, I kind of understand why they are doing it like this for the main OS, so that it serves as a bridge for the normies they are trying to convert.

After trying it out for a few minutes, I kind of like it. The haze/fade background is easier on the eyes and feels more "present" compared to the opaque 2d rounded windows we have been using all this time.

The way you go back and forth between the menus is also a bit more streamlined.

I am quite puzzled why #Meta opted to showcase a completely 2d looking picture in the blog post about the new Horizon OS UI. Here is a unedited screenshot I took from my headset, notice how the icons look much more 3d/lively, compared to the windows95-like icons in their post..

As things stand, no matter how powerful this tool is, with the current pricing I do not think it will be possible to learn how to use it and test its capabilities. IMO There has to be a a learning tier before people are asked to pay $6 per task.

Got access to #manus ai today and immediately put it to test. I first asked it to create an itinenary for an upcoming overseas trip and then I fed it a PPT for a web app idea. Unfortunately it ran out of credits on the 7/10 step & it costs $40 for 3000 credits. The two tasks above cost 1000 credits.

I was able to link my Unity Scripts folder and it not only read and understood the whole code base, it also tapped into the meta files generated by Unity, which gave it further insight (i.e. script execution order) and found my issue in one go.

Highly recommended for Unity devs! #unity #gamedev

Just when I was about to write my findings on using Grok for coding, Gemini 2.5 Pro dropped and for the last week I have not used anything else. The answers are excellent, up-to-date and practically zero hallucination. But the actual game changer I found out today: Linking your code base [1/2]

Day 14 of Immersive Insiders XR Design Challenge: Tutorial work took longer than the scene itself :) Used Meta's pose grabber for hand visuals, added voiceovers & text.

Next up: Finishing the turret placement in the scene.

Kinect tracking indeed felt magical when I first tried it, yet right now the tracking and gesture recognition is lightyears ahead. Surely, buttons have a place (as virtual entities), but I really think for mass consumption we gotta ditch the controllers. The only missing link right now is haptics..

If you are close to West Village, for a very good burger, go to Corner Bistro. For best cocktails and an interesting vibe, try Apotheke Chinatown. Enjoy!

Hand tracking in the Meta Interaction SDK has reached an impressive level. Pinching fast-moving objects mid-air is now a reality. I really feel like the next Echo VR is right around the corner. The possibilities are only limited by our imagination! #VR #VirtualReality #Unity #MetaQuest

Surely some way to go before commercial scale, but still, what a time to be alive..
