We’ve been conditioned to view "Terms & Conditions" as a digital nuisance rather than a binding contract. In #personalfinance, clicking "Agree" is often a blind sign-off on high rates and fees that dictate your financial health for years. It’s not just a skip button; it’s a legal trap.

We treat literacy and basic math as fundamental human rights, yet we treat financial literacy as an "extra." In a society built on credit scores and compound interest, understanding money is just as vital as knowing how to read. It's a requirement, not a talent.

Whether you’re navigating the US system for the first time or grew up in it, we often "don't know what we don't know" until we've already made a few expensive mistakes. It's about that missing awareness of how credit, taxes, and investments actually work before you're thrown into the deep end.
Wish I had guidance on #finance when I first moved to the US

Mega backdoor is the new magic I've learnt. Wish I had some education in the #personalfinance field.
I heard of Collective 2 - a platform where traders can share their trading strategies.
You can run simulations and if you like the results, you can even subscribe to their strategy and execute trades. Additionally, Collective 2 can execute auto trades on your behalf. No manual intervention needed!
It is imperative that you stand up for yourself, your thoughts, your principles. Otherwise the world will crumble you down with their expectations while you keep compromising yourself.
Jinxed it
This is way worse than I ever thought
I said it too soon 😅
You never know when life hits you.
You come to know about a decade after!
Despite the consequences I've borne the brunt of most of my decisions. Now I better understand what I miss in my life, what I need to do to fulfill my needs.
2026 awaits and while I don't have a blueprint, I do have pillars and experience guiding me.
Good luck to everyone and let's welcome 2026!
I let go of people. When you are in your 30s, trust me it's hard to let go of them, specially when history builds up with them. With the financial independence and your principles guiding most of your decisions, newer people are hard to come by.
I've learnt to take hard decisions
Reflecting on this year, it has been a challenging one compared to the previous one.
2024 had positive moves. 2025 was all about settling in the choices made in 2024.
This year was slow, grinding, and filled with hustle.
The hard days stayed the same, easy days arrived far fewer.
Why do vacation days also feel like a battle to get through?
My new sweet craving: #babka

At your home country, they don't ask the purpose of your visit, they ask when will you come back!

My stats with Headspace app
This week I passed 1000 minutes of #meditation using the #Headspace app.
Meditation is underrated, I've said it before and the benefits outweigh almost everything when you put your mental health on the line.
