We have 25 tickets left for a work-in-progress of my new show. Tickets are £7, it's an hour long, it's immersive and it's called Hello PERVERT.
It's in the Lab at Theatre Royal Plymouth and I would love a friendly crowd to test this out on!

I'm trying to raise funds to support mid-career artists in the South West at a time when the arts are being flattened. I'll be putting on a site specific evening of work in stonehouse, Plymouth in the urban Mushroom Farm. Please share if you can. www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/qr/wWqM3mL...
Bristol friends I'm sharing an extract of a play I'm working on called The Shredder on 20 Jan at Bristol Old Vic. It was inspired by my time working as a shredder in my 20s. Please come along, I'd love feedback & ideally for someone to want to develop it!

Just leaving Beer. I'm I'm on BBC Radio Devon at around 10.40am this morning to talk about the South West Coast Path and the walk so far. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...
Well this Q&A is going to take a different tone now!
Today I made the midway marker for the South West Coast Path. 315 miles down, 315 miles to go. It's a mammoth journey but I'm taking it one day at a time, even though some days are more overwhelming than others. Thank you to everyone who has supported me & donated.
I have the best pals! I'm walking 630 miles for charity but I got injured. I'm inching on, albeit slower than I'd hoped. About 100 miles in, 530 to go!
In the guide book it says the South West Coast Path is the equivalent of scaling Mount Everest 4 times. When I read that I put the book down & wondered what on earth I'm doing! I am also aware The Salt Path is out soon & can't wait to watch it when I'm back.
I'm walking for @Hoardingukhelp who were so supportive when I presented my play Breathless about hoarding & @rightsofwomencharity who provide frontline legal advice to those experiencing abuse & violence. If you want to donate: www.justgiving.com/page/laura-h...

In March 2020 I'd planned to hike the South West Coast Path; the idea of carrying everything I needed in one bag & moving forwards every day was appealing to me. The pandemic put that on hold, but today I'm heading to the start point to start the 630 mile walk on my own.
We have our last two shows for Lynn Faces today @newdiorama.bsky.social at 3pm & 7.30pm & it's pay what you can afford. Please come along if you're free or share with anyone who might be willing to take a punt on an "unhinged" show: newdiorama.com

Yesterday, we spoke at a panel for the play Lynn Faces which powerfully engages with themes of coercive control.
Our Head of Policy Hannana Siddiqui discussed the structural barriers to support for Black, minoritised & migrant women, and the value of specialist community-based 'by & for' services.

We've just had four beautiful 4* reviews in for Lynn Faces @newdiorama.bsky.social. I'm so delighted, pleased and proud of our team. My favourite comment through was from Sarah Gosling: "Laura, that was totally unhinged."
The cast of Lynn Faces at press night last night including @laurachorton.bsky.social

What an end to an incredibly special week Theatre Royal Plymouth. We played to a sold out crowd last night & it was epic. I'm delighted to have been asked to do BBC Woman's Hour tomorrow, a personal dream come true for me before we open @newdiorama.bsky.social for the next leg of the tour.
I'm delighted that Lynn Faces is a pick in the @theguardian.com today.
We've honestly had the most wonderful week in Plymouth, audiences have been beautiful.
We open @newdiorama.bsky.social on Tuesday for two weeks and I cannot wait to have some time in London to hang out.
